Governor's Cup Regatta

Please plan now to help with one of Central Ohio's greatest regatta events - the 2008 Governor's Cup! This is the largest fundraiser our club does and enables us to keep our program strong. Complete the volunteer postion request form today!

Speakmon Regatta

Please plan now to help with one of Central Ohio's greatest regatta events - the 2007 Speakmon held right here on our home river. We assist GCRA in the running of this regatta and GCRA offsets that help by waiving our entry fees. We ask that each family devote 4 hours to helping with this regatta. In exchange we are not charged any entry fees (saves the Club almost $1,000). Sign up to volunteer

Regatta Food Committee

We provide the food all day at each regatta for your athlete and you. We need all parents to help set up the tents (we do this while the athletes are rigging the boats) and to assist in the kitchen during the regattas. Contact us today to let us know if you can commit to a permanent position on this committee this season! Thanks!

These positions are of urgent NEED:

1.  Towing the food trailer
2.  Filling the blue water jugs - Thursday evening
3.  Bringing bags of ice
4.  Taking a bag of dishes home to wash
5.  Replacing the propane tanks (done any night prior to the regatta

Please let us know if you are able to help with any of these top five really critical needs.


 

 

WINTER PARENTS' PROGRAM
Each winter during the months of November through February, our parents are invited to participate twice weekly in our Parents' Program. We know everyone has very busy schedules so starting late or ending early is fine. Just come!! On these Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-8 parents gather at the Education Center and are instructed on proper erg technique. This is a great time of fellowship, getting in shape, and learning what your student-athlete experiences. The cost is $100 for the four month program. Sign up here!
