KROGER FUNDRAISING

Would you like to have a fundraiser pay for some of your Dublin Crew fees?  If you are a Kroger shopper, we have a deal for you!! Think of how much you spend on groceries and gas every month, and think of getting back 5% of it.  For example,  if you spend 100 dollars per month at Kroger, you can be earning $60 a year towards your Dublin Crew expenses.

What's involved?  Not much, just a minor change to the way you pay for your groceries.  Before explaining the details, you need to know two things:

1. You can still earn points towards grocery and gas discounts at Kroger by using your Kroger Plus card, and

2. You can continue to earn airline miles/travel reward points by using your credit card.

OK, so here's how it works...

-Dublin Crew will buy rechargeable gift cards worth $5 apiece.  The numbers on these cards designate them as fundraising cards for Dublin Crew.

-You buy one for $5 and we assign your card number to your personal account (or you can choose to donate your proceeds to the general fund, or a specific rower).

-Before you ring up your groceries at the checkout counter, you tell the cashier you want to put some more money into your gift card.  You can use cash, check or a credit card to do this.  You can also do this at the customer service desk.

-After your groceries have been totaled up, you can pay for them with the gift card.  Your receipt will show how much credit remains on the card after that purchase.

That's it, in a nutshell...

But if you want to make the MOST of your gift card, here are a few ideas/tips that can help...

-Use your card to pay for gas at Kroger stations;

-Purchase gift cards for other stores (see link below for list) using the Kroger gift card;

-If you know you're going to eat at a restaurant that's on the list (i.e. at a regatta), get card(s) at Kroger and earn 5%;

-Get your neighbors, friends, or relatives involved and see how fast the funds add up!

Greenery Pick up is November 30 evening and December 1 morning at the Education Center
Pick up a check for the Greenery when you make the sale. Checks are made payable to Dublin Crew.
